The document providing for joint actions to develop logistics and maritime cargo transportation within the framework of the International North–South Transport Corridor was signed by Alexander Kim, General Director of JSC Lotos Special Economic Zone, and Mohsen Vafai, General Director of the Sirjan SEZ.
"This agreement will not only strengthen cooperation between our countries, but will also provide Russian companies with additional opportunities to enter the Iranian market and the ports of the Persian Gulf, as well as contribute to the expansion of exports of Iranian products to Russia," commented Alexander Kim, CEO of JSC SEZ Lotos.

The Sirjan Special Economic Zone, founded in 1991, is located in Kerman Province in southern Iran. It has a well-developed warehouse infrastructure and enterprises of the light, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and pulp and paper industries, as well as factories engaged in metalworking and electronics.
