Representatives of Uzbekistan’s business community are on a fact-finding visit to the Astrakhan Region. The delegation includes Anvar Mirzayev, Director of the Free Economic Zone Zomin-Pharm, and Bekzod Yunusov, Executive Director of Milliy Cola Company. During a meeting with Stanislav Sinchenko, President of the Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), discussions focused on fostering business ties to strengthen trade, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between the Astrakhan Region and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Welcoming the guests, Stanislav Sinchenko emphasized that the ACCI is actively developing business partnerships across all sectors with counterparts in CIS countries and the Caspian region – particularly in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, and tourism. The Chamber is ready to assist the Uzbek business representatives in finding potential partners among export-oriented companies in the region.

During the talks, Bekzod Yunusov spoke about the operations of Milliy Cola plant producing soft drinks and distributing PepsiCo products in Uzbekistan, as well as its plans to expand production and seek Russian partners.

Anvar Mirzoyev noted that his colleagues in Uzbekistan are particularly interested in the Astrakhan Region’s expertise in fruit and vegetable processing and aquaculture.
