Following the results of the XXI meeting of the Business Caspian Council, a declaration was adopted

The document reflects the results of the joint work of the members of the International Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Caspian countries and the main tasks aimed at achieving the goal set at the meeting - expanding cooperation between the countries of the Caspian region.

The Declaration declares the intention of the Council members to promote the expansion of cooperation between the Caspian countries on the development of the international North–South transport corridor, as well as to involve Asian countries in using this route for the transit of their goods. The need to attract investments in the transport infrastructure of the Caspian ports, simplify existing customs and trade procedures and the process of currency operations, and organize work on the development of end-to-end transport and logistics services was noted.

In addition, the declaration indicates the prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism between the Caspian countries. In order to expand the current visa-free group exchange program between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Iranian side was invited to include the Astrakhan Region in the list of Russian regions for Iranian tourist groups to visit.

Recall that the XXI meeting of the International Business Cooperation Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Caspian region "Business Caspian" was held on October 30-31 in Astrakhan. It was attended by about 200 representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, state and regional executive and legislative authorities, and business circles of the Caspian countries. The next XXII meeting is scheduled to be held in 2025 in the city of Rasht, Gilan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
