Astrakhan State Polytechnic College hosted the 13th international "Krendel" competition for young chefs. This year, it was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people's Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Participants included students from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions in Astrakhan, as well as representatives from the Republic of Belarus.

The competition featured several categories: "Culinary Brain Ring," "Culinary Ring," "Best Table Presentation," and "Service."

Young culinarians demonstrated their skills in preparing and presenting dishes and drinks, as well as table setting. Evaluations were made by the jury, which included leading Russian restaurateurs and chefs. Master classes were organized for the contestants, featuring winners of international professional skills competitions.

According to Brand Chef, International Culinary Judge, and winner of international culinary competitions Marina Golovchenko, "Krendel" provided an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge and skills, as well as gain valuable experience in the culinary field.

Mikhail Kuzmich, a student from the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies (Mogilev city), participated in a competition of this level for the first time.
