Founded 2 years ago, Baraleti Export LLC actively promotes Astrakhan products to the foreign market. Last year, according to the results of the district stage of the All-Russian Exporter of the Year Award, the head of the company Fedor Khechoyan took third place in the Best Young Exporter Entrepreneur category.
The main business activity of Baraleti Export LLC is the export of rice.
Thanks to the assistance of the regional Export Support Center, the Astrakhan company has repeatedly participated in international trade fairs in Minsk and Moscow. As a result, more than 400 tons of rice grains were shipped to Belarus in 2024. Compared to the previous year, exports increased by 30%.
The year 2025 also started well for the company.
"We found two more new partners in Belarus (one of them in the Minsk Region) and immediately after the New Year holidays we shipped them the first batches of 20 tons of rice each," said Fyodor Khechoyan. "Moreover, if earlier our products were mainly sold to retail chains, now the horeca rice segment (products for the hotel and restaurant business) is readily purchased by restaurateurs in Minsk. The taste is excellent, the groats are boiled. We have agreed with them that we will increase the volume of supplies in 2025."
