In Astrakhan, employees of the Astrakhan Youth Center "KOSA" met with participants of the International Shift of Young Leaders of the Caspian Littoral countries, which took place in September this year as part of the Youth Educational Forum "BeregA".
Representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan took part in the online dialogue. The topic of discussion was joint work plans for 2025.
The meeting participants noted that the opening of the International Friendship Club at the Youth Educational Forum "BeregA", which brought together dozens of activists from different regions of Russia, as well as the Caspian Littoral countries, Belarus and Uzbekistan, was very significant.
The main areas of work of the new public association are "Entrepreneurship", "Media", "Regional specifics", "Civic Engagement" and "Communities". Club members will participate in joint cultural, educational, sports programs and social projects.
Alexandra Belyaeva, Chief Specialist of the Project Implementation Department of the Astrakhan Youth Center "KOSA", told the foreign participants of the meeting about the institution's work plans in 2025.
The club "Visiting friends" will resume its work in January. It is designed to introduce young people to the history, customs and cultural heritage of the peoples of the Astrakhan Region and the Caspian countries. The first meeting of the coming year, scheduled during the Christmas holidays, will be dedicated to Russian traditions.
"The Astrakhan Region is one of the first Russian regions where a Youth Friendship Club was established," said Alexandra Belyaeva, addressing her peers from the Caspian countries. "We are open for cooperation and are always glad to see you at our venues."
In turn, the participants of the meeting, the youth leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, expressed their willingness to participate in international youth projects implemented at the Astrakhan Youth Center "KOSA".
