To fulfill the dreams of children who especially need support today is the goal of the All–Russian action "Wish Tree", organized by the Movement of the First with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. In the Astrakhan region, members of the regional government joined it. Among them is the Minister of Foreign Relations, Vladimir Golovkov.
He invited three little Astrakhan residents on an excursion to the Opera and Ballet Theater. In the foyer near the twinkling Christmas tree, they were greeted and congratulated on the upcoming holiday by Ded Moroz and the Snegurochka.
Vladimir Golovkov fulfilled the wishes of the children by presenting gifts to ten-year-old Lev Kosyrev, his older sister Milana and four-year-old Veronika Proshakova.
Together with the children, the minister took a tour of the largest and most beautiful Astrakhan theater, which has been transformed these New Year's Eve days: the central staircase leading to the great hall is covered with frost, snowballs and icicles, and bright photo zones are set up in the central foyer. At the request of Vladimir Golovkov, the theater staff told Leva, Milana and Veronica about what was hidden from the audience behind the scenes of the theater. In the prop shop, the children looked into a magic box, held sabers and a pistol, and took selfies in a fabulous carriage. And then we visited the royal box, from where high-ranking guests watch the performances.
The children and their mothers watched the famous New Year's ballet The Nutcracker, enjoyed the beauty of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's music, the excellent work of ballet dancers, and the most beautiful costumes and decorations.
Veronika Proshakova's parents, Leva and Milana Kosyrev, thanked Vladimir Golovkov for the wonderful time spent at the theater.
The Minister congratulated the children and their parents on the upcoming New Year, wished them happiness, good health and all the best.
