Caspian Maritime Institute in Astrakhan is becoming attractive to students from Africa and Latin America
Belaid Houssem Eddin, President of Education Solutions LTD, an international education consulting company in Russia, visited the General Admiral F.M. Apraksin Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport.
During a discussion with Maxim Kartashov, Deputy Director of the Caspian Maritime Institute, special attention was paid to the recruitment of international students for preparatory programs, which allow foreigners to successfully adapt to the Russian educational environment.
The Caspian Maritime Institute currently has over 800 students from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Egypt, and Tunisia. Students are pursuing both higher and secondary vocational education programs. The geography of enrollment is expanding. Currently, the preparatory department of the Institute has received over 60 applications from African and Latin American countries. Nineteen of these students have already begun their studies.
Belaid Houssem Eddine was briefed on the program offerings, educational programs, professional development programs, and living conditions for international students. It was noted that the university is upgrading its facilities, ensuring a high-quality education.
